Here’s a pretty damn simple way to add a “who’s linking” section to your site or blog.

Just drop the following code somewhere, anywhere you want your incoming links to appear. (You can change the “&num=100″ to a lower number if you want to show less than 100)

As with most of the scripts you’ll find here, you need PHP5 to make it work (So you can use the SimpleXML to get the feed from Google’s blogsearch)

<?php
//put your URL here
$yoursite = “http://kematian.biz”;

//get Google’s Blogsearch feed for links to your site
$rss =  simplexml_load_file(’http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds?hl=en&q=link:’ .urlencode($yoursite). ‘&ie=utf-8&num=100&output=rss’);

//loop through each link
foreach ($rss->channel->item as $item) {

//get the link
$link = $item->link;

//get the title
$title = $item->title;

//print it to the page
echo ‘<a href=”‘ .$link. ‘”>’ .$title. ‘</a><br>’;

}

?>

And there you have it!

Tomorrow, the same script, but to get Yahoo! results…..
